Mr P. Nelson. He trained at Manchester University and has over 28 years experience in Secondary Education teaching Geography / P.E / Maths and R.E. His first post in 1980 was at Cowes High School (Isle of Wight), teaching Geography / P.E. Then he moved on to Notley High School (Braintree, Essex) as Head of P.E. in 1991. In 1997 he joined Banovallum School as Head of Geography and promoted to Head of Humanities Faculty in 2001. E-mail pnelson@banovallum.org
Mr S. Carr. He gained a 2–1 ‘B Ed’ Degree from Hull University in 1998 and joined the School as a NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) in September 1999. He is currently teaching across all of the Humanities subjects, although Geography is his first choice. Initially gaining valuable experience as a young supply teacher in the Hull area, he has shown tremondous potential, taking on numerous roles of responsibility including Head of Year. In September 2006 he was appointed as Assistant Head Teacher (Pastoral).
Miss J. Moncrieff. She gained a 2–2 ‘B Ed’ Degree from Glasgow University in 2005 and joined the School in September 2007 after teaching in Scotland. Miss Moncrieff is employed to teach Geography and Environmental Science.
